Those of you out there that have already read MotorMartin’s two part review of the Dacia Duster Laureate http://motormartin.com/2016/03/23/dacia-duster-rumanias-best-just-got-better/ will know about the high regard that MotorMartin holds the Duster in as Dacia encompass the ‘real life’ attributes that MotorMartin is designed to celebrate.
One of the many aspects of Dacia and their range of vehicles that MotorMartin likes is the realistic pricing, clearly a business decision which has allowed many people to buy new rather than second hand, perhaps for the first time. And yet, Dacia are still happy to introduce further offers to bring even more people into the showroom. MotorMartin, like many others, was very impressed with the Duster and I’m sure that when potential customers get to drive the Dacia of their choice, rather than read the reviews, then they too will be swayed.
Dacia has informed MotorMartin that they have introduced their new Ambiance Prime special edition across their Sandero, Duster and Logan MCV model ranges, starting from just £7,295 and offering cost-conscious drivers something extra in every sense. Fantastic for us as the consumer and great for Dacia themselves. It’s a win win situation surely.
Building on the popular Ambiance specification, the new special edition includes additional exterior equipment that when bought collectively adds up to £1,190 – all for a price premium of only £500 over the Ambiance trim and reinforcing Dacia’s ‘shockingly affordable’ approach to motoring. A bargain indeed.
The arrival of the Ambiance Prime special edition comes at a time when more drivers than ever, Dacia inform us, are opting for the no-nonsense brand. Dacia having recently celebrated their third consecutive year of growth in the UK and selling over 3.5 million cars since relaunching across Europe.
Offering customers the opportunity to enjoy a car that looks more individual without the often associated additional costs, Ambiance Prime models are identified by their own unique ‘Chestnut’ metallic paint finish, the addition of alloy wheels and, on the Sandero and Logan MCV, front fog lights. The attractive extras complement the standard Ambiance features, which include Bluetooth connectivity, electric front windows, body-coloured bumpers, a Radio/CD player with USB and AUX connection, 60/40 split-folding rear seat and Emergency Brake Assist, ESC and ASR (traction control). You’re getting alot of added value and in MotorMartin’s eyes, great value for money.
Dacia have informed MotorMartin that in Ambiance Prime trim, the Sandero and Logan MCV – the UK’s most affordable car and estate car respectively – benefit from 15-inch ‘Aquila’ alloy wheels, while the Duster features 16-inch ‘Everest’ items.
Ambiance Prime versions of the Sandero and Logan MCV are available with a choice of 1.2-litre 16V 75 and 0.9-litre TCe 90 petrol engines or the 1.5-litre dCi 90 diesel. The Duster comes with either the 1.6-litre 16V 115 petrol or 1.5-litre dCi 110 diesel engine in two- and four-wheel drive configurations.

Rightly proud of their products, Dacia and their French owners, Renault, have, since the brand’s launch in the UK in 2013, won numerous awards including What Car?’s ‘Best Small Car under £12,000’ for four consecutive years for the Sandero.
Dacia have told MotorMartin that they have sold 26,228 vehicles in the UK in 2015, up 10 per cent compared to 2014 and that over 70,000 Dacia models have been sold in the UK since its launch in January 2013.
So it’s a deserved MotorMartin well done for both Dacia and Renault and it’s great to see the brand doing so well.
Where will you go?
