News just in at MotorMartin Towers has already caused quite a stir as it’s been noted that more than 180 cars are due to attend the Fawley Hill Concours d’Elegance for the Total Trophy, presented by international auctioneers COYS at this year’s steam and vintage weekend, which takes place between Friday 20th May and Sunday 22nd May. Excellent. Indeed, MotorMartin has been following COYS for a while now, highlighting their impressive sales events https://motormartin.com/tag/coys/ as the expertise that they show in their Auctions is second to none and well worth checking out at http://www.coys.co.uk/coys-auctions. An extremely pleasant way to spend a few hours. Recommended.
On all three days over the weekend, COYS alongside their corporate partners, leading International oil and gas company Total, will be providing a fabulous hand-picked selection of very high quality classic cars, which will all be competing for the People’s Choice award, the Total trophy.
On each day the public will be asked to choose the classic car that they have enjoyed the most at the event and the winner will be presented with a Total trophy for the day with runners up being given goody bags from the oil company.
Marc Smith, General Manager Total Lubricants UK, shared with MotorMartin that: “Total is becoming more and more involved in the world of classic cars, which is part of our history with brands such as ELF and over the next couple of months we will be making some major announcements about how we plan to support this important market.”
He added: “We are delighted to be supporting the event at Fawley Hill. It is a fantastic opportunity for classic car owners to meet up and it has attracted an eclectic list of vehicles.”
Chris Routledge, CEO of COYS, informed MotorMartin that: “We are delighted to be supporting Sir William and Lady Judy McAlpine at this event. It is one of the ‘secret gems’ of the British transport calendar and one of the few occasions when motoring and steam enthusiasts can enjoy first hand Sir William’s legendary railway, which runs around the estate.” Fantastic sentiments there from Chris Routledge.
Sharing the following with MotorMartin, Lady Judy McAlpine said: “We have a fantastic collection of vehicles, coming to a great party at one of the wackiest estates in the country. There is still room for more classic cars. All owners have to do is to go to the website (www.fawleyhill.co.uk) and register under ‘entry forms.’ They will have a great time and be helping some of the best small charities in the country.” Excellent.
So COYS and Total combining the expertise and resources to provide classic car fans with what looks to MotorMartin to be a fantastic day out. Thank you COYS and thank you Total.
Where will you go?
