It’s been said before on MotorMartin that MG Motor UK will only continue its impressive increases in sales by continuing to concentrate on both excellent products and expanding their dealer network to cover all areas of this great and pleasant land of ours. Someone at MG Motor UK clearly agrees as we have the soon to be launched MG XS and further emphasis on the spread of dealerships with MG marking its return to Nottingham with the opening of an all-new, purpose-built dealership. Councillor Vivienne McCrossen, Mayor of Gedling Borough Council, was in attendance to formally open MG Nottingham and welcome new customers.
It’s been shared with MotorMartin that the official launch kicked off at 10am, and MG Nottingham welcomed everyone from local and surrounding areas to join the celebrations. Guests also got up close with the MG range, which includes the MG3 and the MG GS. The event saw customers meet the new team and enjoy complimentary tea, coffee and nibbles. Excellent news.
Mark Campbell, Director at MG Nottingham, explained to MotorMartin recently that: “The opening weekend couldn’t have come soon enough for our team. After all the hard work we had put in to getting to this point, we were really excited to get the doors open, meet our customers and start finding them their dream cars. MG is a name synonymous with the British motoring industry, and we’re extremely proud to be able to bring the new range to the people of Nottingham. We look forward to welcoming everyone to the new site.”
Matthew Cheyne, Head of Sales and Marketing at MG Motor UK, also commented to MotorMartin: “We’re really excited to see the MG brand back in Nottingham. The showroom looks fantastic and we’re sure the dealership will be a huge success. Providing excellent customer service is very much part of MG’s ethos and we’re confident MG Nottingham will deliver this on every level.”
The new dealership can be found at: 295 Westdale Lane, Mapperley, Nottingham, NG3 6EW and is definitely worth a visit.
