It’s been explained to MotorMartin recently that the Reserve Collection at The Citroën Conservatoire, an integral part of L`Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS based at Aulnay-sous-Bois, North of Paris, is moving.
In preparation of this move, Citroën Heritage has consigned 65 vehicles and 90 items of automobilia from its museum reserve to Leclere-mdv, the auction house under owner Damien Leclere, to be included in a unique auction on 10 December 2017 from 14:00.
The vehicles are estimated to sell between £800 and £18,000 and include a number of rare Sbarro Citroën prototypes, Pre-War vehicles and modern classics.
Due to the unique nature of this sale, L`Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS have confirmed to MotorMartin that they are ensuring that collectors of the Citroën Marque across the world will be able to take part in the auction and explained that L`Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS is dedicated to continuing the heritage of the Citroën Brand and all successful bidders will be invited to become members of The Association.
It’s quite clear that the Citroën Marque has been admired by several generations of owners and because of this, Citroën Heritage is organising an auction that is accessible to all potential buyers either by bidding in person, on the phone or online, via a live stream on www.drouotlive.com.
Pre-sale viewing will be on Saturday 9 December with the auction being held on Sunday 10 December.
