News: MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS IS NAMED FLEET CAR OF THE YEAR AT ASSOCIATION OF FLEET CAR OPERATORS AWARDS

In what has been a rather interesting award season so far, it’s come to the attention of MotorMartin that the Mercedes-Benz C-Class has been given the Fleet Car of the Year title at this year’s Association of Fleet Car Operator’s (ACFO) awards.

It’s been explained to MotorMartin that the C-Class was recognised thanks to its low whole life costs, practicality and stylish good looks.

Rob East, Head of Fleet, Mercedes-Benz Cars UK commented to MotorMartin that: “The C-Class is one of our top selling fleet models – 50% of C-Class sales this year have been to fleet buyers. As this award is chosen by customers driving our cars, it’s a real testament to the strength of our product.”

For those that don’t already know, the ACFO awards is in its 34th year, and welcomes 200 ACFO members for its exclusive ceremony – this time held at the St John’s Hotel in Solihull. ACFO is the UK’s premier fleet decision-makers organisation.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is available in four different body styles (saloon, estate, coupé, cabriolet) with a wide range of engines, and in both two-wheel and all-wheel-drive. For more information on the C-Class range, MotorMartin recommends you visit www.mercedes-benz.co.uk.
