In the World of MotorMartin Towers, the Outlander PHEV is certainly a well respected hybrid SUV and much like the rest of the country, it’s a car who’s many positive points make it difficult to ignore. indeed not many months ago MotorMartin had the pleasure of experiencing the PHEV over a variety of roads and situations that left me with an even higher regard than that which was previously held.
MotorMartin has previously posted two in depth reviews of this impressive motorcar at Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV: Are Friends Electric? and Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV: Don’t Stop Me Now as well as reporting on it’s impressive Worldwide sales performance at News: GLOBAL MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER PHEV SALES PASS THE 100,000 MARK and is looking forward to a week with the PHEV in July.
And now news has reached MotorMartin Towers of Mitsubishi’s latest offer that will offset the cutting in half of the £5000 Government contribution towards electric vehicles as Mitsubishi Motors in the UK has introduced a £2,500 finance deposit contribution and 0% APR representative on their market-leading Outlander PHEV. The offer is available on cars registered between the 21st June to 28th September 2016.
Toby Marshall, Sales and Marketing Director of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, shared with MotorMartin that:
“With its state-of-the-art petrol-electric hybrid powertrain, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is at the forefront of a new generation of ultra-low emissions vehicles that can save money for motorists and help to improve air quality.”
Mitsubishi themselves state that: A full sized 4×4 family crossover SUV, the Outlander PHEV offers exceptional fuel returns of up to 156mpg. Combining electric and petrol power it has a range of 541 miles – 32 miles in electric mode alone – which is more than enough to accommodate the average daily commute.
The serial award-winning Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, which offers class-leading emissions of just 42g/km CO2, is exempt from London congestion charges thus making the offer even more compelling for motorists and commuters that drive into London.
MotorMartin has also been made aware that in addition to the above savings, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is also exempt from road tax and qualifies for the Government’s £2,500 Plug-in car grant. Meanwhile, company car drivers can reap the reward of 7% Benefit in Kind tax (BIK), meaning a virtual pay rise of several thousand pounds per year.
With this offer running from 21st June to 28th September 2016 there really hasn’t been a better time to visit your local Mitsubishi showroom for a chat and if you’re based in South Wales or thereabouts, MotorMartin certainly recommends that you give the lovely people at Nathaniel Cars a call on 01656 339849 for a great deal.
It looks like the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV will remain a sales success for quite some time to come. Well done Mitsubishi.
Where will you go?
